  • Welcome to Brunswick Community College COMPASS Test Review Site! This site is designed to help you to do the very best you can on your COMPASS placement test.

Doing well on your COMPASS test will save you time and money.  The test will determine whether you begin with college-level work or with refresher courses that do not count towards your degree.

The higher you score on the test, the fewer refresher courses you will have to take, the quicker you can finish your studies, and the more money you will save.  For example, one semester of refresher courses in math and English could cost as much as $700 plus the cost of books.

We want you to begin at a level where you can be successful.  This test helps us place you in the courses for which you are ready.

As you already know, you should always prepare before you take a very important test, especially one that is going to impact your academic future.  The first links below will give you an idea of what to expect on the test and the other links go to sites where you may brush up on different skills.
