Licensure Disclosure

Certain BCC academic programs prepare students to sit for applicable licensure and/or certifications in North Carolina. In order to comply with U.S. Department of Education regulations regarding distance education and professional licensure, BCC is required to make the following disclosure with respect to professional licensure or certification outside the state of North Carolina.  BCC cannot confirm whether a particular program meets requirements for professional licensure or certification outside the state of North Carolina.  Please contact applicable licensure or certifying boards in the target state you would be interested in before beginning the academic program in order to determine whether the program meets the requirements for that state.  It is the student’s responsibility to confirm program eligibility for licensure/certification in any state outside of North Carolina.

Student Grievance Procedure for In-State and Out-of-State Students

Brunswick Community College's Student Grievance Procedure can be found in the BCC Catalog and Student Handbook, beginning on page 205.  This procedure applies to all students regardless of their location.
